Chad Osterberg began his career in design, landscaping, and property maintenance as a high schooler in Fairfield, Connecticut. After helping out a local landscaper by cutting lawns part-time, Chad bought a lawnmower at a tag sale for $20 and launched his own business. In the early 2000s, he began offering his clients planting, garden care, and design services. He hired a landscape architect and a crew of workers in 2003, and both his name and his business have continued to grow throughout the local Fairfield County community ever since.
Chad and his experienced team offer clients comprehensive, year-round maintenance programs, which include everything from garden design and care to masonry and seasonal clean-up to snow removal and driveway care. Maintenance programs are customized around the client’s needs and the needs of the property, and Chad’s goal is to continually exceed his clients’ expectations. As business owner, he remains very hands-on, detail-oriented, and invested in every project.
Chad’s unique landscaping and design philosophy approaches property care holistically. He and his clients create a master plan that will evolve in tandem with the use of the property: form follows function, construction lasts a lifetime, and gardens are designed to thrive with minimal maintenance. In designing, Chad and his in-house landscape architect are passionate, creative, and vision-oriented, considering a vast array of elements – foundation plants, year-round color, terraces, lighting, texture – when drafting concepts. Clients have come to know Chad and his crew as experienced, detail-oriented, and friendly. Ninety percent of work is done by expert, in-house employees, and Chad is able to manage any project from start to finish, including jobs that require permitting, inspection, or hiring subcontractors. Once a project is approved by the client, a schedule is drafted and followed closely, with progress reports sent to the client multiple times a week. Project sites are kept clean and safe, and schedules accommodate the client’s time and budget along with the requirements of a quality, enduring end result.
